'Everything's A Plot Against Him,' Ramos Defends Spanish Refs After Pique Criticism On Twitter

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has hit out at La Liga officials after a controversial penalty call that allowed Real Madrid to overcome a two-goal deficit to beat Villarreal on Sunday, but compatriot Sergio Ramos says Pique shouldn't be dramatizing things.
Real Madrid came back after a controversial penalty call that allowed Cristiano Ronaldo to equalise.

Pique, who's no stranger to criticizing referees, hit out at the decision on Twitter.

"Against the same teams. 8 points. Those clips are from the Madrid press, if you doubted," Pique posted on Twitter, sharing headlines from AS and Marca that emphasized wrong refereeing decisions in Real Madrid's advantage.

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos wasn't surprised about Pique's comments. "I would have been surprised if he'd have put Lionel Messi on there," Ramos remarked to reporters.

"We already know about Piqué's world, where everything's a plot against him.

"The referees have a difficult job, we have to try and make them more comfortable."
