U-20 AFCON: Hosts Zambia Beat Guinea In Opener

Hosts of the 2017 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations Zambia got off to the best possible start following their Group A 1-0 win against Guinea in the opening game of the tournament at the National Heroes Stadium, Lusaka on Sunday afternoon.
Patson Daka scored the only goal of the game to earn Zambia the win. Daka scored in the 48th minute after a goalless first half.

Zambia will take on Mali in their next Group A game on Wednesday.

Guinea will hope to bounce back from the opening day disappointment when they face Egypt also on Wednesday.
