Eagles Shift Focus To AFCON & World Cup Qualifiers

After 10 days of camping and training in London during the FIFA break, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will now shift focus to their preparations for 2019 AFCON and 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
With the earlier friendly game against Burkina Faso canceled and with no replacement secured for the team, the Super Eagles were forced to play themselves on Monday in a warm up game that ended 1-1 at the Hive stadium in London.
The team in an official statement on its Twitter handle said: "Our 10 days of camping & training in London during this FIFA break has ended. It was a very good period for us to bond & get together again.

"Our immediate focus & preparations are on the 2019 AFCON qualifiers against S/Africa in June before the 2018 World Cup qualifiers in August."
