Suarez: Reasons Why I'll Never Go To A FIFA Gala Again

Luis Suarez suffered deeply when he faced a four-month suspension from the FIFA after biting Giorgio Chiellini at the 2014 World Cup.
In an interview he hits back at the international football association.
"I've suffered deeply. I'm a sensitive person. My daugther felt what I was going through. We were getting ready to take the plane to our World Cup game to Colombia, but I couldn't go," Suarez told Sport.

"When I joined Barcelona I couldn't even show myself at the training ground, I was only able to go to the gym. My kids kept asking why I didn't play. It hurt me, because I'm a soft guy. I'm only human and then you make mistakes.

"The FIFA could've suspended me for 10 or 15 games, but you can't forbid someone to train or go to a stadium. It hurt me. I now I was wrong, but they had to realise how much they hurt me. That's why I've decided to never go to a FIFA gala again."
