Chelsea Star Tammy Abraham Gets Court Summon

Nigerian-born Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is to appear in court after receiving a summons for careless driving and driving without insurance or a driver license.
The player who spent the season on loan with Bristol City was involved in a car crash back in January, which left a vehicle written off.

The player had apparently borrowed a Mercedes AMG from a teammate, but lost control of it and smashed it into another driver's Avensis car near Bristol's training ground.

The England U-21 of Nigerian descent could likely face a six-point penalty and a fine worth £5,000 Chelsea officials were informed of the incident and were said to have spoken quite sternly to the 19-year-old, who makes £25,000 every week.

However, no one has stepped up to pay the other driver.

Abraham has since gotten his license, having passed his driver's test back in March.

He also posed for a picture with his driving instructor thereafter, and the image was posted on social media by the company.
