Ligue 1 2016-17 Final Round-up: Monaco End With Win, Marseille Secure Europa League And Bastia Relegated

Champions Monaco rounded their season off with win at Rennes. Marseille secured Europa League football while Caen dramatically kept themselves in Ligue 1 in the final minutes of the season. And Bastia finished bottom.
Rennes 2 - 3 Monaco

Newly crowned Ligue 1 champions, Monaco ended their season with a 3-2 win over Rennes on Saturday night.

Fabinho and Jemerson put Monaco into a two-goal lead before Adama Diakhaby pulled two goals back for Rennes.

However, Jorge sealed the win for the Champions in the 78th minute, as they finish eight points clear of PSG.

Paris Saint Germain 1 - 1 Caen

Paris Saint-Germain ended their league campaign with a 1-1 draw with Caen at the Parc de Princes.

Adrien Rabiot opened the scoring for PSG after 13 minutes, however the visitors managed to snatch a point courtesy of a stoppage time strike from Ronny Rodelin.

Marseille 1 - 0 SC Bastia

Marseille took on Bastia knowing that victory would keep them ahead of Bordeaux in fifth place for the Europa League spots, while their visitors needed all three points to have a chance of survival.

Bafetimbi Gomis' second-half strike was enough to earn OM a 1-0 win.

Lyon 3 - 3 Nice

Mario Balotelli's Nice finished the campaign in third spot, despite drawing 3-3 with Olympique Lyon in their final game of the season.

A brace from Alexandre Lacazette and an own goal from Maxime Le Marchand cancelled out Anastasios Donis's brace, but Nice snatched an equaliser in stoppage time through Jean Seri.

Lyon finish the campaign in fourth spot, while Nice claim the final Champions League spot.

Angers 2 - 0 Montpellier

Keagan Dolly's Montpellier ended their Ligue 1 campaign with a 2-0 loss to Angers on Saturday evening.

Jonathan Bamba and Flavien Tait struck late in the second half to earn the home side three points.

Lorient 1 - 1 Bordeaux
Lorient head into the relegation/promotion play-off for a place in Ligue 1 after their 1-1 draw with Bordeaux.

Meanwhile, Bordeaux finished sixtth.

Younousse Sankhare's early goal was cancelled out by Vincent Le Goff and Bordeaux must hope Paris Saint-Germain beat Angers in the Coupe de France final, which would mean the European berth passes to sixth place.

Guingamp 1-0 Metz

Guingamp joined ASSE and Rennes on 50 points as Mustapha Diallo's goal gave them a 1-0 win over Metz.

Lille 3 - 0 Nantes

Nantes held on to seventh place despite losing 3-0 at Lille.

Nicolas De Preville's hat-trick, the third a penalty after Lucas Lima was sent off, left the outcome in no doubt but St Etienne and Rennes missed the chance to overtake Nantes.

Nancy 3 - 1 Saint-Etienne
Bastia finished bottom after already-relegated Nancy beat St Etienne 3-1 with goals from Alexis Busin, Modou Diagne and Faitout Maouassa.

Arnaud Nordin scored for ASSE.

Toulouse 0 - 0 Dijon 

Dijon also kept themselves out of trouble by drawing 0-0 at Toulouse.
