Report: Neymar's Father Wants Him To Join Man United

Barcelona superstar Neymar has been told to leave the club after concrete interest from Premier League giants Manchester United and Manchester City emerged, according to a report in The Express.
The Brazil international's father, Neymar Snr, has apparently told his son he needs to move to England and the English Premier League, sparking talk of a bidding war between the two Manchester clubs.

Neymar has played alongside Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi, but Neymar Snr believes the time is right for the former Santos forward to escape from the Argentina international's shadow at the Nou Camp and become the star man elsewhere, reportedly hinting that Old Trafford and United would be the best destination.

Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho is known to be a long-term admirer of Neymar, who he feared would stay with the Catalan giants for the rest of his career, so Neymar Snr's intervention in the transfer saga will no doubt go down well in Manchester.
