Bayern Starlet Kingsley Coman Arrested In France Over Domestic Violence

Coman was reportedly arrested by French police because of domestic violence.
Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman was taken into police custody on Monday and questioned over allegations of domestic violence against his former girlfriend, according to multiple reports in France.

The prosecutor's office confirmed that the 21-year-old France International was interrogated by police in Chessy, Seine-et-Marne - roughly 25 miles from central Paris.

And according to reports from Europe 1, two violent disputes erupted between the pair on Saturday and Monday over what is believed to about money from a large advertising contract.

The woman made contact with police on Monday where she filed the complaint against Coman, where he was then arrested later that morning.

He was held by police for a few hours where he acknowledged the facts of his arrest, and was later released with his trial date set for September.

He is the second former PSG youth academy graduate to be arrested in the past year, after defender Antoine Conte was detained for allegedly attacking a teenager with a baseball bat and leaving him in a critical condition in December.
