Chelsea Set To Sign Bayern's Boateng?

The English champions are set to make a shock move for Boateng
Chelsea Antonio Conte has made a shock move for Germany defender Jeome Boateng, according to Sky Italia.

Conte has turned to the Bayern Munich centre half in a bid to strengthen his squad as the Blues look to carry on their spending.

The English Premier League champs have made an enquiry to Bayern to check on Boateng's availability and it is believed the World Cup winner could be open to a move back to England.

Boateng, 28, had a year at Manchester City but joined Bayern in 2011 and has enjoyed a huge successful period in Munich.

But injuries have often curtailed his progress and that may mean Bayern could be open to selling even though they would want in excess of N12.59b.
