Lionel Messi Wants Barca To Sign Bellerin, Verratti, Deulofeu And Dembele

Messi wants Barcelona to sign four players this summer

A new report has claimed that Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi will urge his club to fork out for Hector Bellerin, Marco Verratti, Gerard Deulofeu and Ousmane Dembele in the transfer market this summer.

As speculated by Spanish publication Diario Gol, the Argentine has been left frustrated at his team's lack of success this season, and feels the club needs to invest in a new right-back, a central midfielder, a centre-back and two forwards in order to boost the team's chances of competing with Real Madrid next season.

Indeed, the club is expected to make a drastic overhaul this summer, with incoming manager Ernesto Valverde understanding the need to rejuvenate a squad that was disappointingly uncompetitive throughout the season.

Squad players Jeremy Mathieu and Arda Turan have already been informed that they are free to leave, whilst summer signings Paco, Andre Gomes and Denis Suarez will all be expected to live up to their lofty price tags or face the axe, after leaving much to be desired this season following moves from Valencia and Villarreal.
