Monaco's Mendy On The Verge Of £39.6m Move To Man City

The 22-year-old is one of Pep Guardiola’s main targets this summer
AS Monaco left-back Benjamin Mendy is on the verge of a €45 million (£39.6m) move to Manchester City, according to French outlet Le10Sport.

The defender is reportedly on top of Pep Guardiola's wishlist to replace Gael Clichy, as he fits the profile of the Spanish coach's ideal back.

While Southampton’s Ryan Bertrand also fits that profile, it is thought that Pep Guardiola has made it clear that he prefers Mendy and it seems as if there has been made a deal according to the report.
