Pinnick Is Bad Luck And Rohr Is Wrong For Nigeria, Says Primate Elijah Ayodele

Amaju Pinnick, President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has been branded ‘bad luck’ to football in the country while Gernot Rohr is a wrong choice for the Super Eagles, according to Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Ministries.

Under Pinnick, the Super Eagles have failed to qualify for two consecutive Africa Nations Cup tournaments and kicked off the race for the 2019 AFCON on a poor note as they lost 2-0 in front of home fans in Uyo.

Primate Elijah Ayodele is a sport loving man of God and conducts prayers for the various national teams of Nigeria and speaking on the Celebrity Fitness show aired by Star FM 101.5 at the weekend, he voiced his displeasure with the leadership of the NFF.
“First of all they must remove Pinkini or what do they call him?" he enquired. “Pinnick,” the presenter, Ejiro Femi-Babafemi replied.

“The man is a bad luck to Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). We must put the right person there for Nigeria to move forward.

“And bringing that Oyinbo man (referring to Gernot Rohr) to come and do it, is another error. I have done press interview everywhere telling this man (Pinnick) to step down, because this technical adviser that you’ve picked is not the best.

“One, look at the money that is going to be involved and you tell me that Nigeria is in recession – Nigeria is not in recession. We are enjoying because if we are in recession, we will not even think of it.

“Two, when you are talking about the Super Eagles, are they coordinated? They were in a training camp for two weeks somewhere outside the country. Is it not waste of money?

“.......I’m talking as a prophet and looking at the spiritual angle. The other time we didn’t go to Nations Cup, this is how we shouted ...and if we don’t do the right thing, we will fail.

“Let’s bring in our home-based coaches. We have brilliant coaches and we only need to encourage them because how much do we continue to rely on these foreign people?

“Look at other big nations, they use their own people as their coaches. I knew the other day that South Africa will beat us and we are going to their place and its either we draw or they beat us.

“We need our old players’ back like Vincent Enyeama because he brings luck to our team,” he concluded.
