Zinedine Zidane's Son Enzo Joins Alaves From Real Madrid

Enzo Zidane, the son of Real Madrid manager Zinedine, has left the Santiago Bernabeu to link up with Alaves on a three-year deal.
The 22-year-old midfielder has chosen to take on a new challenge after struggling to make an impact in the Spanish capital.

He arrived at Real in 2004, following in his father's footsteps. However, he spent much of his time for Real Madrid Castilla, the club's reserve team in the Spanish second tier.

Enzo, a product of the Madrid academy, was handed a first-team debut in a Copa del Rey clash with Cultural Leonesa in November 2016, but scoring in that game turned out to be as good as it got for him.

The former France Under-19 international played 78 games for Castilla, scoring seven goals and providing 15 assists.
A statement on Alaves' official website added: "Deportivo Alaves wants to welcome Enzo Zidane and wishes him the best of luck for the new season."
