Arsenal Send Letter To Barca Telling Them To Stop Unsettling Hector Bellerin

Hector Bellerin has been linked to Barcelona time and time again, but Arsenal seem determined not to sell the right back.
Sky Sports claim that The Gunners have sent a formal letter to Barcelona, to ask them to put their interest for the Spain U21 international on hold.

According to the North London club, Barca's inquiries for the defender are unsettling him and distracting him from his day job at the Emirates.

And according to reports in England, Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis reportedly sent the‘strongly worded’ letter to Barcelona warning them against pursuing a transfer move for Bellerin.

Bellerin - a star of Spain's Under-21 team in the European Championships this summer - had eyed a return home.

Bellerin had held talks with Arsene Wenger, telling him he wanted to leave, which the Arsenal boss instantly rejected.

The right-back was interested in a return to Spain, but Barca have now switched their attentions elsewhere to avoid a potential ‘tapping up’ storm, according to the Mail.
