Banega Returns To Sevilla In N3B Deal

Inter Milan midfielder Ever Banega has announced he's returning to Sevilla this summer on his official website.
It was known for a while that a N3 billion (€9m) deal had been agreed between the two clubs, but neither officially confirmed the transfer of the Argentinian.

However, the player himself has now confirmed he will move back to his former club, stating that he'll be a Sevilla player again for the 2017/18 season.
He said: "I'm very happy to have returned home, because the two years I spent here were the best I've had.

"I had two spectacular years here, achieving many important things and the fans appreciate that. I also appreciate that the club have always left the doors open for me.

"Now I'm starting a new era with high hopes."
Banega spent one season in Italy, scoring six goals and providing as many assists in 28 Serie A appearances.
