Bayern Send Former Arsenal Star Gnabry Out On Loan

Bayern Munich announced they have signed Werder Bremen's Serge Gnabry, but the attacker has already been sent out on loan.
The former Arsenal winger only joined the German champions in June for N2.57 billion (£7million) on a three-year deal, but expressed his desire to experience another campaign of first-team football.
A statement on the Bayern website read: "Serge Gnabry will move from Bayern Munich to Bundesliga club Hoffenheim on loan with immediate effect.

"The 21-year-old U21 European champion, played last season at Werder Bremen and signed a three-year contract in Munich in June. He will be loaned until June 30, 2018."
Bayern club chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge backed the move and believes Hoffenheim can expect a high level of performance from Gnabry.
He said: "It was Serge's explicit desire to be loaned for one more year so he could get more game time.

"In my opinion, this is also guaranteed at a high level in Hoffenheim. After a year, he will return."
Having broken onto the scene with Arsenal between 2012-16, Gnabry moved to his native Germany and has progressed exceptionally.

Last season he netted 11 times and provided a solitary assist for Werder Bremen.

Hoffenheim fans will be hoping the talented wide-man will produce a similar output for their side in the coming season.
