Gianluigi Donnarumma Signs New Five-Year AC Milan Deal

Gianluigi Donnarumma has been the protagonist in one of the most-anticipated transfer stories of the summer, but there has been another plot twist as he signed a five year deal with Milan.
Sky Italia journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that the young goalkeeper has reached an agreement with AC Milan to extend his contract to 2022.

The 18-year-old goalkeeper will have two buy-out clauses inserted into the deal which depend on Milan qualifying for the Champions League.

Should they fail to reach Europe's elite club competition, the clause is believed to stand at 50m euros (£44m, N17.8b) but if they do, it doubles to 100m euros (£88m, N35.8b).

Earlier it seemed like the talented shot stopper would refuse to pen a new deal as he'd fancy a move out of San Siro.

Due to the latest transfers Milan made, signing some big stars, the keeper has got the faith back and he's willing to stay.
