Liverpool Set To Pay Club Record Fee For Leipzig Midfielder Naby Keita

RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita has reportedly agreed to terms with Liverpool according to ESPN journalist Gab Marcotti.
The German club will do everything in their power to keep their player and do not want to sell, setting his valuation at N29.9b (£70m).

The Guinean midfielder was a major part of Leipzig’s second place finish in the Bundesliga this season.

He has drawn plenty of attention and most experts agree that the N29.9b (£70m) it would take to sign him, is worth it.

Keita scored 8 times and assisted 8 times in 31 Bundesliga appearances last season.

Liverpool already broke the bank with the signing of Salah from AS Roma and it seems they are prepared to do so again.

With a return to the Champions League, there’s no doubt Liverpool need to add quality and this is certainly a step in the right direction
