Nigeria's Agbo Wants To Play In English Premier League Very Soon

Nigeria international Uche Agbo is confident that he will in the English Premier League very soon.
Agbo completed a permanent switch to Standard Liege 12 days ago, just over a year after moving from Udinese and signing a five-year deal at Vicarage Road.

The 21-year-old spent that year on loan at Granada and played 31 times for the La Liga side, who suffered relegation back to the second-tier, and the Hornets had hoped to secure a work permit for Agbo.

Unfortunately for them that did not happen and instead of sending the Nigerian international out on loan again, Watford and the Pozzo family have cashed in on their young talent.
"I'm very happy to join an ambitious club in Belgium, but when my time is right playing in the Premier League will come," Agbo told BBC Sport.

"My focus right now is to settle at Standard Liege and give my all, by the power of God I will be there [in England] very soon.

"There is no disappointment or whatsoever, sometimes God takes us on a different road to get to our desired destination."
"I am grateful to Granada because playing in Spain helped my career a lot, from there I got a chance to join Watford and to play for Nigeria," Agbo added

"The Belgian league is closely followed across Europe; I just want to give my best here and you never know what the future holds."
