Amuneke Confident Nigeria Will Beat Cameroon Next Month

Former Nigeria international Emmanuel Amuneke, is confident that the Super Eagles will beat Cameroon after coach Gernot Rohr recalled the quartet of Victor Moses, John Mikel Obi, Leon Balogun and Odion Ighalo for the clash next month.
“It’s difficult to fault this list because the players invited are the best we have playing topflight football at the moment,” Amuneke told Completesportsnigeria

“The coach has listed a lot of physical players with experience and pace in this side, so we should win if we keep to our game-plan.

“The team is well balanced, and they have that capability to outplay the African champions.

“We saw Cameroon at the FIFA Confederations Cup, I think these players invited, mwith a great gameplan, can exploit the lapses noticed in the Cameroon team."
Nigeria lead Group B on six points after two games, and are followed closely by Cameroon who have two points from the same number of games. Zambia and Algeria occupy third and fourth place respectively with one point apiece.
