Barca's Twitter Account Hacked After Fake Angel Di Maria Signing Post

The La Liga club's Twitter account was hacked in the early hours of Wednesday morning
August 2017 has not been a good month for FC Barcelona. After losing Neymar to Paris Saint Germain in a record-breaking transfer, they suffered humbling defeats to bitter rivals Real Madrid across two legs of the Spanish Super Cup within five days.

Now, a hacker group has had fun at their expense after taking control of the Spanish giants' Twitter account in the early hours of this morning..

The group 'OurMine' went on to post the news of the club announcing the signing of Angel di Maria from PSG and later urged Barcelona to contact them apparently for account recovery.

They made another post asking the users to "get #FCBHack trending on Twitter!."

After jostling out with the hackers to get back hold of their account, Barcelona finally managed to get the order restored and confirming their Twitter page was hacked, asking for patience till the time they get the problem solved'
"Our accounts have been hacked tonight. We're working to solve the problem as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience," the club posted on Wednesday.
