Leo Messi Heading To Man City? Father Begins Talk With Etihad Chiefs - Report

Man City are plotting a move to land the Barca star
Over the summer, the wild rumour was heard in England that Manchester City are interested in signing Barcelona's Lionel Messi and are willing to pay his £263m release clause.

Today, The Sun added another factor to that wild story. According to the British tabloid, Messi's dad has been visiting the Etihad in order to discuss a possible move to Manchester.

The report states that Jorge Messi met City director of football Txiki Begiristain, who was at Barcelona until 2012, about Leo’s future.

However, a deal would be difficult at the moment and have to wait until at least next summer.

Messi Jr is stalling on an extension, agreed in July, to stay at Barca until 2021.
