Tottenham To Sign PSG's Aurier For £23M

Aurier is heading to north London.

English football club Tottenham Hotspur and French giants Paris Saint-Germain, reportedly have a deal in place for the transfer of Ivory Coast defender Serge Aurier.

L’Equipe claims that the clubs have agreed on a fee of £23million for the Elephants right-back, who has settled on personal terms with the London side.

However, the proposed deal would only come into effect if Aurier is granted a work permit for the United Kingdom.

At present he is barred from entering the UK because of a suspended sentence handed down for assaulting a police officer in Paris last year.

Aurier has appealed against the sentence and is currently awaiting the outcome of the legal process.

Should the 24-year-old complete the move to London, he will sign a five-year deal and arrive as a replacement for Kyle Walker.
