Conte Angry After Alvaro Morata’s injury - Report

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is unhappy with the lack of striking options in his squad, which has been exposed by Alvaro Morata's hamstring injury.
That's according to The Times.

The Spain striker has not given up hope of being fit for the club's next English Premier League match, against Crystal Palace a week on Saturday, but his manager regrets that the club have to rely on their N26b record signing after failing to secure cover in the summer.

Conte is particularly aggrieved at not being given an alternative to Fernando Llorente, who chose to join Tottenham Hotspur in preference to Chelsea on transfer deadline day in August.

He thinks Chelsea's pursuit of Llorente was bungled throughout.
