Arsenal will be looking to make it five wins at home in the English Premier League this season when they host Swansea today.
Arsenal vs Swansea
English Premier League, Season 2017/18
Date: Saturday, 28th October 2017
Kick-off at 15:00 West Africa Standard Time
Venue: Emirates Stadium (London).
Arsenal finally hit top gear with the 5-2 win at Everton last week. The Gunners who managed just 1 point from their four previous away games scoring 1 goal will be rejuvenated after the stunning performance.

Meanwhile, Swansea suffered their fourth home defeat in the space of five EPL games on the weekend by a narrow 1-2 margin to a manager-less Leicester City.

Having registered just 2 wins from the 9 games, the Swans edge closer to the relegation zone. They are 15th in the table, but they manage to stay above the bottom three on the virtue of goal-difference. While Arsenal are sitting 5th in the EPL table.

Arsenal - Arsene Wenger remains unable to call upon center back Shkodran Mustafi, right back Calum Chambers, and center midfielder Santi Cazorla due to injuries. He rested a slew of players on Tuesday in the EFL Cup, so look for them to come back into the team. Do not look for hero striker Edward Nketiah to play here, as he is far too inexperienced for a run out here as of yet.

Swansea - Paul Clement will be without center back Kyle Bartley due to his knee injury until the middle part of November. Striker Wilfried Bony also remains out for the Swans in this one. Left back Martin Olsson came off early on Tuesday, so he looks set to miss out for a while as well. He rested some of his side, so expect them to have a bit of a rotated side coming back for this EPL match.

Arsenal (3-4-3): Cech; Monreal, Koscielny, Mertesacker; Bellerin, Xhaka, Ramsey, Kolasinac; Ozil, Sanchez, Lacazett.

Swansea City (4-3-3): Fabianski; Naughton, Fernandez, Mawson, Rangel; Ki, Clucas, Sanches; Fer, Ayew, Abraha.

  •  Just 12 meetings have taken place in the Premier League era, with the Gunners winning six times, losing five times, and drawing just once.
  • Overall, just 18 matches have occurred. Arsenal have nine wins, two draws, and seven losses in those.
  • Arsenal won 3 of the last four English Premier League matches against Swansea, losing in the other.
  • The corresponding fixture of the last season at the Emirates was a thriller that ended 3-2 in favour of the Gunners.
  • The Swans were unbeaten in the four previous away matches at Arsenal, won 3 and drew 1.

Arsenal 3-0 - The Swans had troubled Arsenal in the past few matches at the Emirates. But this time, they are coming in poor shape. And the game is over 2.5.
