Nigeria vs Zambia
World Cup Qualifiers Third round
Date: Saturday, 7th October 2017
Kick-off at 5:00PM Nigerian Time
Venue: Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, Nigeria

The Super Eagles of Nigeria must do everything within their power to qualify for Russia 2018 World Cup today.

A win over Zambia in Uyo will be enough to see Nigeria return to World Cup after reaching the second round in Brazil in 2014.

Gernot Rohr’s men are three points clear at the summit of Group B with two games left to go, indicating that victory or at least a draw would push them over the line with a game to spare.

TEAM NEWS:

Nigeria Coach Gernot Rohr kept faith with the same line-up in the two qualifiers against Cameroon in September but could make some changes today as the Eagles seek to seal their place in Russia with a win.

PREDICTED LINEUPS:

(Nigeria 4-4-2): Ikechukwu Ezenwa; Elderson Echiejile, William Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogu,Shehu Abdullahi; Ogenyi Onazi, Wilfred Ndidi, Victor Moses, John Obi Mikel; Moses Simon, Odion Ighalo
