No Special Security Preparations For Sunday's Game, Says Zidane Ahead Of Tie With Girona

In the light of possible police plans to postpone Real Madrid's away game against Girona on Sunday, due to the declaration of Catalan independence.

Real boss Zinedine Zidane has stated that they are not making any special security arrangements.

Plans for extra security protocols to protect the club from Spain's capital as they travel into the politically unstable region are unnecessary according the French manager, saying to Marca:
"We are not worried, nothing is changing the plan for our trip'. Security for this match will be as it always is.

"We will play as we always do and without thinking about anything else. I'm not going to send any messages. We will think about our game, we want to play football and put on a good show."
Zidane assured that he is 'confident that they will put on the necessary security so that nothing happens'.
