Ozil's Contract Talks Positive, Says Agent

Mesut Ozil's agent says that talks with Arsenal over a contract extension are "going in a positive way".
Ozil's contract at the Emirates expires at the end of the season, meaning that he is free to negotiate a pre-contract deal with clubs outside England from January.

As a result, his future at Arsenal, who he joined in 2013 from Real Madrid, has been in doubt for some time.

However, Ozil's agent Dr Erkut Sogut has suggested that his client could yet stay in north London.
He said: "Ozil wants to play another two to three years in the English Premier League. Our contacts with Arsenal continue and are going in a positive way."
