Rohr Expects Iwobi To Replicate Fantastic Form Against Zambia

Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr has expressed his relieve over the return of Arsenal star, Alex Iwobi to action last weekend, after a thigh injury scare that placed him under watch by the Franco – German coach, ahead of the Eagles world cup qualifying cracker against the Chipolopolo of Zambia on Saturday.
Rohr, who could not hide his excitement at the form of the young player, after he scored in Arsena’sl EPL victory against Brigthon over the weekend was confident that Iwobi can replicate such form and wreck Zambia on Saturday.

And he now expects the exciting young forward to on Saturday in Uyo reproduce the form which saw him score against Zambia in a 2-1 win a year ago in Ndola.
Rohr: “We expect that he can play again a decisive role, like he did in Ndola against the Chipolopolo of Zambia.

“Yes, we are happy about Iwobi’s recovery. He’s a serious professional and the Arsenal doctors did a good work for his fast recovery from his injury.

"He has given us more tactical options after the games against Cameroon that he did not play.”
