Ronaldo Sells Ballon D'Or Trophy For N240M To Charity

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has auctioned one of his Ballon D'Or trophies in order to raise money for charity.
The Portuguese sold one of his trophies to Idan Ofer, Israel's richest man, for a flabbergasting 240 million naira.

The money will go to the Make-a-Wish charity.

Make-a-Wish gives seriously ill children the chance to realise their dreams and focus on something positive.

Ronaldo had specifically asked for the replica of the award of 2013 to be donated to the charity auction.
