The Ball Is In Our Court To Book World Cup Ticket, Troost-Ekong Says

Nigeria can secure their place in next year's FIFA World Cup when they take on Zambia at Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo today by 5:00PM
In what should be his last official words before stepping out on to the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium pitch on Saturday evening to face Zambia, William Troost-Ekong is backing Nigeria to qualify for the 2018 World Cup with one game to spare.
''This game is crucial for us. We have worked hard to be in this position. Today, it is up to us to secure our place in Russia," said Troost-Ekong to the Nigerian Federation.
He ended with a message to his fellow Akwa Ibomites:
''Fill up the Godswill Akpabio Int'l Stadium, Uyo, on time this evening. Cheer your darling Super Eagles to the World Cup''.
