We Were All Bad, Not Just Batshuayi, Says Chelsea Boss Conte After Defeat To Crystal Palace

Chelsea suffered a humiliating defeat on Sunday, against an until then goalless and winless Crystal Palace.
Michy Batshuayi replaced absentee Alvaro Morata, but the Belgrian striker couldn't fire a shot on target, which caused a lot of criticism.

Antonio Conte, manager of the Blues, replaced Batshuayi in the 56th minute, but doesn't want him to be the scapegoat:
"Why do you have to speak about Batshuayi and for example not another player? I think that the performance of the whole team was bad. Not only one player or two players but all of the players," Conte said post-match.

"Our performance was bad. I trust in every one of my players. I try to give everyone the opportunity to take their chances but also because we have only Morata and then Batshuayi."
The Italian manager thinks there is no need to panic.
"I know my players, I know my squad very well, between last season and this season. I think that I have players with a great will to work," he added.

"A great will to fight. For sure, we have to find the strength to overcome this moment because everyone can see our situation."
