Ashley Young Pushes Man United For Longer Deal Offer

Ashley Young wants to play out his career with Manchester United.
Young is on course to be a free agent at the end of this season, when his £130,000 (N60 million)-a-week deal is up.

The Mirror says United want to keep him and have pledged to activate a 12-month extension to his current terms, worth £6million (N3.6 billion).

But the 32-year-old is hoping for a longer agreement, after turning down opportunities to move away when he was out of favour.

Young is yet to begin formal contract talks at Old Trafford about his future, but definitely wants to stay.

He enjoys a good relationship with manager Jose Mourinho and is highly-regarded within the dressing room.
