Everton Make Contact With Hiddink Over Move - Report

According to The Mirror, Everton have sounded out Guus Hiddink about potentially becoming their new manager following Ronald Koeman's exit.

The Toffees lost five of their first nine English Premier League games under Koeman this season, leading to the Dutchman's exit last week following a 5-2 home defeat against Arsenal.

David Unsworth has lost twice since becoming caretaker manager, and with Everton's season in real danger of becoming a disaster, they may look to make a swift decision over their new manager.

A number of names have been suggested for the job, including Sean Dyche, Nuno Espirito Santo and Sam Allardyce, but now a surprise name is believed to be in the frame.
