  • Atletico haven't lost a single match in La Liga so far this season, and they have just one loss total.
  • Real Madrid were unbeaten in the LaLiga fixtures last season with a 3-0 win in the corresponding away leg and a 1-1 draw back at Bernabeu. The teams later met in the UEFA Champions League semifinals and Real once again tasted success with a 4-2 aggregate win (3-0 at Bernabeu, 1-2 at the Calderon).
  • Yet, Atletico have a strong home record against Real in recent season after having lost just 1 of the 7 fixtures at the Vicente Calderon; 4 wins and 2 draws.

Atletico Madrid 12 Real Madrid - The two Spanish teams have endured tough starts to the season and with sitting eight points behind leaders Barcelona, they will be both looking to come away with all three points.

The home side remain undefeated and won't want to lose that record to their local rivals, so it'll be cagey, but the fixture has a history of goals. So,  Real will narrowly defeat Atleti.
