Man United's Fellaini Suing Ex-Boot Sponsors For N960M

There is finally a reason behind Marouane Fellaini's performance level at Manchester United.
The Belgian claims bad shoes have had a big impact on his career over the past years.

The midfielder was sponsored by New Balance but decided to go to the Higher Court of London in order to sue the sports brand for the reported amount of N960 million, as claimed by The Sun.

Fellaini stated that the New Balance boots he was wearing caused "loss of enjoyment, inconvenience and impact on performance" and that they had to be steamed and stretched before each game before he could wear them.

The company countered these allegations by the Man United man by stating that he always said the boots were "perfect" and never complained before.
