Man United's Rashford Reveals His Surprise Idol

Marcus Rashford has revealed a very surprising name of who he considers being his childhood hero.
The Manchester United prospect called Tim Howard his "idol."

The 20-year-old told Sky Sports that the former United and Everton goalie Tim Howard "was my idol."
He said: "Tim Howard was my idol. I used to have a little Tim Howard shirt."
Despite being a forward, he identified the goalkeeper as a player that he looked up to and their paths crossed when he joined the Man United academy in 2005.

Rashford also admitted that there will be a day that he will don the gloves himself if United ever need a goalkeeper during the match.
"You watch, there'll be a game... I'm going to get the gloves one day!."
American 'keeper Howard was at Old Trafford from 2003-2007, but is more well-known for his nine-year spell at Everton. He is currently back in the MLS with Colorado Rapids.
