Real Madrid's Ramos Tells Arsenal's Ozil Not To Join Barca

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has inserted himself into Barcelona's pursuit of Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil.
The German playmaker is out of contract next summer and has been heavily linked with a move to the Nou Camp.

Spanish paper Don Balon says Ramos has personally called Ozil in an effort to convince him not to sign for Barca.

The pair played together for three years during Ozil's spell at the Bernabeu.

And Ramos would consider it a betrayal if the former Schalke star joined Real's great rivals.

The Spaniard believes Ozil linking up with the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez would seriously harm his side's title chances.
