Report: Barca Scouting Lyon's Fekir

Spanish Barcelona are monitoring the progress of Lyon captain Nabil Fekir, reports Marca.
The 24-year-old is sitting on 11 goals and four assists in 11 Ligue 1 outings, and has picked up the role of Lyon's main man since the departure of Alexandre Lacazette last summer.

Barca sporting director Robert Fernandez is said to have watched him live in Lyon's recent Europa League win over Everton.

The Camp Nou side are now weighing up a potential transfer, with Fekir seen as a more affordable option compared to Philippe Coutinho.

The France international has made no secret of his love for Barcelona in the past, stating two years ago.
He admitted: "My favourite team is Barcelona, but I'm aware that much work is needed. To play for Barcelona one day is my dream."
