Report: Real Madrid Put Bale Up For Sale

Spanish football giants Real Madrid have set a price tag for striker Gareth Bale, according to the Daily Mirror.
They report that they want N39 billion for the star who has struggled with injuries during his time at the Spanish club.

Manchester United are reportedly closely monitoring the situation and looking to make a bid for the attacker in the summer.

However, they hope that they can negotiate an even lower fee when the Welshman doesn't feature a lot until July.

Bale has suffered with a persistent calf problem since moving to Madrid for N39.9 billion in 2013.

And his latest setback - a thigh injury picked up in training on Friday - has proved to be the final straw.

Bale has won three Champions Leagues, one La Liga title and the Copa del Rey during his time in Madrid.
