Rodrigo Moreno Signs New Valencia Deal

Valencia striker Rodrigo Moreno has signed a new contract.
Rodrigo has put pen to paper on a new deal at Valencia tying him to the Mestalla club until 2022, with the club hiking his minimum release clause to €120 million (N48 billion).

Rodrigo was one of the first signings of the Peter Lim era and is now the third longest-serving player in Marcelino's squad behind only Dani Parejo and Jose Luis Gaya.

Initially arriving on loan from Benfica in 2014, Valencia exercised their option to make the move permanent a year later for €30 million (N12 billion).

Rodrigo's original contract expired in 2019 but his stellar performances this season have persuaded Valencia to increase his contract by a further three seasons.
