Barca Player Says He Will Quit Club If They Sign Liverpool Star Coutinho

Barcelona star Gerard Deulofeu has reportedly told the club he’ll leave in January if they sign Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho.
The Catalan giants are working hard to secure the arrival of the Brazilian when the transfer window opens on Monday.

Liverpool are determined to keep hold of their prized asset after rejecting Barca’s offers in the summer but they face another tough fight on their hands to reject their advances this time around.

Barca are still pressing ahead with a proposed move even if it means upsetting the players already at the club it seems.

Spanish publication Don Balon claim Deulofeu is one player against the club signing Philippe Coutinho. The Spaniard has made just five La Liga starts this season with Barca flying high at the top of the table.

And Deulofeu feels the arrival of Coutinho would mean he gets less playing time, falling further down the pecking order.

With Ousmane Dembele also returning from a lengthy spell on the sidelines, Deulofeu knows he won’t get chances to impress in a year when he wants to make the Spain World Cup squad.

The former Everton winger has now warned the club he’ll leave if they go ahead with signing the 25-year-old.
