Man City Plotting A Swap Deal With Real Madrid

English football side Manchester City have told Spanish club Real Madrid they can sign Sergio Aguero on one condition, according to reports.
Real Madrid are being linked with Aguero amid uncertainty over the player’s Manchester City future. Despite being one of the most prolific strikers in English Premier League history, the Argentina international is currently behind Gabriel Jesus in Pep Guardiola’s pecking order.

Real supposedly want Aguero as a replacement for Karim Benzema, whose inconsistent form has seen his popularity plummet over at the Bernabeu.

And Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim Real are free to sign Aguero from Manchester City - but only if they allow goalkeeper Keylor Navas to move in the other direction at the end of the season.

Navas has been a huge hit since signing in 2014. After shining for Costa Rica at the World Cup in Brazil, the 31-year-old has since helped Real win consecutive UEFA Champions League titles.

However, with Madrid keen to raid Athletic Bilbao for Kepa Arrizabalaga, Navas could be sold at the end of the season.

Diario Gol say City want him as a replacement for Claudio Bravo and to play second fiddle to Ederson. And, should Real allow him to go in the summer, they can sign Aguero next month.
