Man City's Sterling To Become EPL's Highest-Paid Player

Raheem Sterling is about to sign a new deal with Manchester City and that reportedly would make him the best-paid player of the English Premier League.

According to The Sun, his new contract contains a change in his wages that would see him earning around £300k (N137m)-a-week, surpassing Paul Pogba's £290k (N133m)-per-a-week deal.

Sterling has just two more years left on his current deal and City are keen to tie the former Liverpool man to the club for the foreseeable future.

Talks for the contract extension were expected to begin at the end of this season, but have been brought forward due to Sterling's exceptional performances.
