Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos Sets Red Card Record In La Liga

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is the most red-carded player in the history of La Liga after getting sent off late in a 0-0 draw with Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.
The Spaniard was sent off after receiving his second yellow for an elbow on Athletic Bilbao striker Aritz Aduriz.

It was the 19th time he was shown a red card in the league, surpassing Xavi Aguado and Pablo Alfaro who had been sent off 18 times.

Due to the sending off, Ramos will be unavailable for Real's next clash against Sevilla this Saturday.
