Spurs' Kane Could Miss Swansea Clash Because Of Illness

Harry Kane will end his record-breaking year in bed after missing Tottenham training today with a cold.
The England striker scored his 39th Premier League goal of the year when he notched a hat-trick against Southampton on Boxing Day.

He has also scored more goals in 2017 than Lionel Messi. But Kane, who promised to take his team-mates out to celebrate his achievement, has now gone down with a cold and is fighting to be fit to face Swansea on Tuesday.
Mauricio Pochettino said: “He has a cold like me. He is at home. He doesn't feel good. We will see if he will be fit to face Swansea. We will see how he reacts. We are training tomorrow. No big issue."

“First he has to recover form his illness and see if he can play,” Pochettino added.

“But that would be fantastic.”
Asked what his favourite memory from 2017, the Argentine said:
“Many good memories. I think the last game at White Hart Lane was my favourite memory from 2017. To remain unbeaten and say goodbye with a win over Manchester United.”
