Another NPFL Club Involved In Auto Accident

This is the second time a Nigerian club would be involved in an auto accident this season.
Players and officials of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club MFM FC, were involved in an auto crash on Sunday, just two weeks and three days after Kwara United's accident.

MFM were heading back to Lagos after a 1-0 league defeat to Plateau United in Jos on Saturday.

According to a source in the team, the accident occurred at about 4.40pm local time along Akungba, Owo Road in Ondo State due to a brake failure.

No lives were lost and no major injury sustained by any of the players and officials of the team.

The coach of the team, Fidelis Ilechukwu, is also fine contrary to reports that he is in a critical condition.

The accident comes few weeks after the team bus of another Nigerian league team Kwara United was involved in an accident in the early hours of Wednesday, January 10, 2018.

No deaths were recorded also but some of the players sustained injuries.
