Arsenal Agree Deal To Sign Malcom As Alexis' Replacement

Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Malcolm of Girondins de Bordeaux as Alexis Sanchez replacement and will iron out the final details of the transfer on Monday, according to reports in Brazil.
The Gunners are resigned to selling Sanchez in the January window, with Arsene Wenger admitting that the Chilean’s future will be resolved within the next 48 hours.

Sanchez will reportedly make the move to Manchester United for a £30 million (N14 billion) transfer fee. And he wasn't part of the squad that took on Bournemouth on Sunday, because of the 'knife-edged situation' that he is currently in.

Arsenal boss was adamant that a replacement would be signed, and now Goal Brasil claim that the Gunners have reached an agreement with Bordeaux for Malcom.

They expect the deal to be officially completed at the start of the week and have scheduled final talks for Monday when the last few details will be negotiated.

The deal will be closed at €50 million (N21 billion), with Arsenal having moved swiftly to beat off competition from the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal.

Wenger also remains keen on signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Manchester United. Arsenal's new head of scouting, Sven Mislintat, was responsible for taking the Armenian midfielder to Borussia Dortmund and he now wants to take him to North London.
