Arsenal Complete Signing Of Defender From PAS Giannina

Arsenal have completed the signing of defender Konstantinos Mavropanos from Greek club PAS Giannina, the English club announced on Thursday.
The Greek youngster cost the Gunners a reported £2.2million (N107m), but won't be playing for the London side anytime soon.
"Yes the signing is complete, but he's not ready to play," Wenger said of Mavropanos' arrival following Wednesday's 2-2 English Premier League draw with Chelsea.

The 20-year-old defender is recognised as one of his country’s best prospects 
"He will go out on loan." 

The London club added: "Young Greek defender Konstantinos Mavropanos has signed for us.  

"The 20 year-old centre-back arrives from PAS Giannina, where he has made 16 Greek Super League appearances since breaking into the first team last season.   

"We’d like to welcome Konstantinos to the club and wish him well for the future."
He made his breakthrough last season into PAS Giannina's first team and made 16 appearances

Mavropanos, who is Arsenal's first signing of the January transfer window, also attracted interest from Greek giants Olympiakos after breaking into Giannina's first team last year, but opted for a move to England.
