Chelsea To Face Big Transfer Ban

Chelsea could face a possible transfer ban as they are under investigation by the FIFA because of the signing of 25 minor foreign players.
An initial investigation by the FIFA is accusing the London club of breaking the rules when they signed the players under the age of 18, including Bertrand Traore.

Chelsea are the first English club to be part of such an investigation.

Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid were investigated for infringements related to the signing of minors and each was given a two-window transfer ban.

Chelsea could receive the same ban.

Clubs are not permitted to sign players under the age of 18 from other countries unless their parents have emigrated for reasons not connected to football.
